My works are about time and weathering , chance and fate. They reflect the endless life cycles of growth and regeneration. The traces left by the forces of nature, its patterns and residues, are ways we have of knowing the force that runs from the past and continues into the future. Mother Nature and animal instinct, the macrocosm with its microcosm, are at the source of my work. Overall details, however, reveal the uncertainty in life. Recurring dichotomy between revelation and concealment animate the works with latent tension and enigmatic quality. Light is both a goal and a process, a show of power or right and wrong. Mixed directions of life, migrations, digging tunnels, unfolding, are conjured with mixed materials.
